PrepareFirst is committed to supporting the cause of child safety for ALL families – not just those that we serve ourselves directly.

We contribute money and time to the Safe Kids organization, which benefits children throughout our community.

Safe Kids is dedicated solely to preventing unintentional childhood injury. The focus is on one specific problem: more children 1 to 14 die from accidents such as motor vehicle crashes, drowning, and falls than any other cause. Accidents kill one million children around the world each year and permanently disable many more. Almost all of the injuries are preventable.

Safe Kids Georgia promotes changes in attitudes, behaviors, laws and the environment to prevent accidental injury to children. In the United States, Safe Kids partnerships have contributed to a 45 percent reduction in the child fatality rate from accidental injury – saving an estimated 38,000 children’s lives.

Locally, this is accomplished through community partnerships, advocacy, public awareness and distribution of, and education on the proper use of safety equipment. The organization depends on the support of grass roots networks within local coalitions to implement safety programs and hands-on training throughout the State of Georgia.

PrepareFirst is committed to supporting the fight against breast cancer because of its persistent toll on families everywhere.

As a client, a portion of every dollar you spend with us will be donated to organizations dedicated to one or more of the following:

1) providing education about breast cancer in the interest of early detection.

2) providing support and services to economically disadvantaged women.

and

3) funding research for a cure.
