Certified Professional Childproofer

The Certified Professional Childproofer^® (CPC) designation recognizes members of the International Association for Child Safety (IAFCS) who have met specific criteria and have proven through rigorous testing and client interaction that they possess the broad knowledge, experience and professionalism required for certification. The certification program incorporates safety standards and best practices related to injury prevention, safety products and installation.

Any person or entity can become a member of the IAFCS. Achieving the CPC designation, however, means that an individual has 1) completed significant years of experience in the field, 2) studied an extensive curriculum of safety information and business professionalism, and 3) passed a comprehensive certification examination.
